Recently, MCEC employees, Julie Rohr and Allan Masterson traveled to Decatur for the 2019 Farm Progress Show. Several Illinois Touchstone Energy Cooperatives joined forces to set up a tent that included a Live Line and Pole Climb demonstrations. Employees were on hand to answer questions and give out Touchstone branded items.

Darren Knobloch of rural Fults,  was recently hired as our new Field Technician as of July 1, 2019. Darren previously worked for TWM. We welcome Darren to the co-op!

High school juniors who are also cooperative members are eligible to enter our Youth to Washington contest. Up to two finalists from each of our area schools will attend Springfield Youth Day on April 3rd . One grand prize winner will get to attend a week-long tour in Washington, D.C. June 14th – 21st.
